The quality of the training provided in the Tailoring Centres and word of communication from outgoing trainees increased the registration of more women aspirants for the next batch started from March 2024. Intensive and newly updated designs on embroidery and needlecraft were introduced to the trainees to enhance their skills according to the market trend, and to the needs of the customers. There is a remarkable increase in the registration of the trainees in all these Centres.
As a follow-up measure, periodical meetings were conducted at the Tailoring Centres to evaluate the progress and feedback from the Trainees. To measure the impact of the training, monitoring and evaluation meetings were coordinated by the ToTs (Training of the Trainees) for Women’s Development Programs. As part of the training's output and outcome, these participants have performed well in the Training, and Course completion certificates were issued. A few of the deserving Trainees have been guided to apply for Sewing machines through government schemes and have received them. Many of the trainees have joined the existing Tailoring Shops to further improve their practical skills.
The trainees are happy about the Tailoring Centres and the performance of the instructors. Few are willing to continue the Training further to improve their skills in embroidery and other artworks related to ladies' dressmaking.
