Don Bosco Tech Society - Chennai has taken the lead as a CSR Initiative in Partnership with Accenture, and Skills to Succeed in providing Training support through the Domains of Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES), Retail Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Customer Care Executive (CCE) Non-voice, Domestic Data entry Operator (DDEO), and Linguistic Skills in Communicative English for the School dropped out students between the age 18 to 30 without charging any fees. DB Tech provides uniforms, Stationery items, and financial support for the trainers' salaries. Since 2016, Don Bosco Tech Society (DB Tech Centre) has been functioning in Sivakasi, District of Virudhunagar, in association with MITE. So far, 2500 young people have benefited from the Centre. Additionally, physical activity is provided on Soft Skills, Computer Usage, Internet Jobs, Oratory Skills, and Waste Management.
Since this center was experiencing unusual infrastructure problems and inadequacies in accommodating around 60 students for each of the batches, it was decided by DB Tech to interchange this Centre to another location in Virudhunagar District, and identified Sirumalai near Kalasalingam University at Krishnankoil. The existing building at Sirumalai was renovated with the required infrastructure and facilities, and started functioning from 1st of December 2025. By establishing this new Centre, MITE expects that many of the students dropped out of School from the Srivilliputhur and Krishnankoil areas will be benefited by attending the Computer Courses and Training.
